    • LOut1: Upon completion of this module, the learner should be able to understand the meaning of self-awareness and why they are important to develop in your personal and professional life.
    • LOut2: Upon completion of this module, the learner should be able to learn how to develop confidence and skills needed to endure times of uncertainty, and not give in to the fear of unknown.
    • LOut3: Upon completion of this module, the learner should be able to reflect on your short and long term needs and wants, and work on achieving those by implementing efficient goal-attaining efforts.
    CONTENTS IN BRIEF This module defines self-awareness and how it affects people in every aspect of their lives, whether professional or personal. Several definitions are given as well as a short description of the term. This module tries to explain the importance of self-awareness. As this module is aimed at VET trainers and entrepreneurs, it tries to show its importance in this field and help entrepreneurs to improve and develop this characteristic using smart and useful ways.
    GLOSSARY ENTRIES
    1. Self-awareness: According to psychologists Shelly Duval and Robert Wickland: "Self-awareness is the ability to focus on yourself and how your actions, thoughts, or emotions do or don't align with your internal standards. If you're highly self-aware, you can objectively evaluate yourself, manage your emotions, align your behavior with your values, and understand correctly how others perceive you."
    2. SWOT analysis: SWOT analysis, which stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats, is commonly used in business and strategic planning.
    3. SMART goals: Goals play a significant role in both business and life, offering direction, motivation, focus, and a sense of importance. They serve as targets to strive for and can be effectively set using the SMART goal framework. SMART stands for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Timely.
