CONTENTS IN BRIEF The module on Risk Mitigation for Vocational Education and Training Staff explores concepts, ideas and processes around Risk Mitigation and management. The module highlights the importance of Risk Mitigation strategies in order to ensure the effective implementation and continuation of VET programmes. It sheds light on different types of risks and ways to successfully tackle them. Additionally, the module offers an understanding of prioritization strategies as well as strategies for the development of risk mitigation plans. The content is developed in such a way to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to manage risks in Vocational education and training settings. GLOSSARY ENTRIES - Risk Mitigation: The ability to identify, assess and prioritize all types of risks and where they could come from, such as natural causes, legal changes, or uncertainty in any given context, and the methods for dealing with risks effectively.
